Document Preparation Tips
- Start gathering documents at least 3 months before the deadline
- Ensure all documents are translated to English or Chinese (where required)
- Keep both physical and digital copies of all documents
- Have official documents notarized and authenticated as needed
Document Checklist
Completed Application Form
Fully filled scholarship or university application form with accurate information.
Valid Passport
A clear copy of your passport's bio-data page. Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended travel date.
Academic Certificates
Highest degree certificate(s) – High School, Bachelor's, or Master's depending on the program level.
Academic Transcripts
Official transcripts showing all courses completed and grades obtained.
Passport-Size Photographs
Recent passport-size photos (usually 2-4) with white background as per embassy requirements.
Medical Examination Certificate
Health certificate from an approved medical facility, including blood tests and physical examination.
Police Clearance Certificate
Non-criminal record certificate from your local police department or national authority.
Bank Statement
Proof of financial capability to support yourself (if not fully funded by scholarship).
Language Proficiency Certificate
IELTS, TOEFL, HSK, or other language test results depending on program requirements.
Study Plan / Research Proposal
For Master's and PhD programs: a detailed study plan or research proposal.
Recommendation Letters
2-3 letters from professors or employers attesting to your academic/professional capabilities.
